CUMAR is a proud sponsor for the second year of the Boston Society of Architects (BSA) Annual KidsBuild!, taking place on Saturday, April 7th and Sunday, April 8th, in the lobby at 290 Congress Street, Boston. Kids Build! is the largest BSA sponsored event in the Family Design Days series. Guided by professional architects, over 800 children and their families will build a miniature city in the lobby space. Families will choose a construction site from a fictional city grid, design and build a building out of recycled materials, and be awarded a certificate of occupancy from the city building inspectors.
CUMAR has always been huge supporters of mentoring future generation of designers. As the primary supporter of the Over My Shoulder Foundation – a unique media-based project whose goal is to raise awareness of the impact of mentoring both cross-culturally and cross generationally – it is our company culture to continue supporting initiatives like KidsBuild!
